  • One for the boys!

A great cut without the use of clippers

  • Thick hair - we love it!

A great technique for thick hair.

  • A great cut ...

Lines, texture and the sweet love of Jesus right here in my pretty blue eyes✨😉

  • Time and technique

I take my time using scissors and techniques to graduate, disconnect and add the right texture. I’m personally not into using a razor, unless I’m on a shoot and I’m adding weaves (extensions) to the hair and they need to be quickly cut down as time is of the essence. Razor haircuts are good for a quickie on guests but personally would love to see more crafted scissor work used from hairdressers these days to show skill and certain discipline, at this rate I could teach my Mum in a week to cut hair with a razor 🤷‍♂️😉

  • Not for the faint-hearted

Before you start, make sure you communicate this technique to your guest, or cardiac arrest is on the cards😉 Here I’m eliminating weight and adding texture by cutting splinters of little hair using the heel of my scissors, but not fully closing them. Best used on dry hair to have more control and execution of technique.

  • Attention to detail

is key for longevity in your haircut 😉 ‘Oh babe, it ain’t no lie.’

  • Horizontal sections

is such a versatile cutting technique. It can be adapted to different lengths. Here I’m working a shorter look on my guest 😊.

  • Refining short hair

    Detailing and refining for style.

  • No clippers here

just pure scissor over comb. A classic barbering technique invented by our masters gone by.
